These values are directly out of the GM Shop Manual for the 1980 Corvette: Pinion nut- 200-220 lbs. ft. Ring gear bolts- 45-60 lbs. ft. Bearing caps- 60-70 lbs. ft. Carrier front support- 65 lbs. ft.
