I reduced the maximum processor state down to 85% and now the hottest it gets is mid 80s. Idle temps seem to be OK, fluctuating between high 20s and high 30s. Reinstalled heatsink; cleaned CPU and reapplied thermal paste. Added second fan to heatsink for push-pull setup. Max temps still >85°C. Replaced Arctic Freezer 34 CO with Corsair H115i PRO AIO liquid cooler.
