WebbIbuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Ibuprofen is used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as headache, toothache, back pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, or minor injury. This medicine is used in adults and children who are at least 6 months old. WebbIbuprofen can be used for the short-term relief of fever, mild to moderate pain and inflammation (redness, swelling and soreness). Ibuprofen might also ease some of the symptoms of: headaches e.g. migraines or tension headache sinus pain toothache and pain after dental procedures backache, muscular aches and pains period pain sore throat
