Webb11 juni 2013 · If you have ticks in your area, and it sounds like you do, I would advise asking your vet about using a tick preventative like Frontline. You cannot hope to find all the tiny little deer ticks that might get on your dog. Some are the size of a poppy seed. Without using the Frontline on my dogs, they would be getting bitten all the time. WebbI just found a tick on me . . . apparently, brought to me by one of my kitties (time for another Frontline application). They must be especially bad this year. This makes the 6th or 7th one in about 6 weeks time.
