WebbThere must be a router with Internet connection in the local network of the system. The inverter must be connected to the router. Procedure: Integrate the inverter into the network by means of the SMA Connection Assist. Download the SMA Connection Assist and install it on the computer (see www.SMA-Solar.com). WebbConnect CAT5/CAT6 cable from the Windows computer to the SMA inverter at one end of the row. The first or last inverter will have ONE free port available for connection – this should ensure all communication is maintained through the Speedwire “daisy-chain” and all inverters appear on the network.
